Kayla Robinson was Zoey Redbird's best friend before she was Marked in Marked. She is described as a typical high school girl, and is known to ramble on about unimportant things, which Zoey appropriately names "K-babble." After Zoey is Marked she's trying to steal Zoey's almost-boyfriend Heath Luck, even though she had a boyfriend, Jared. And also, she started hanging out with some other girls who she and Zoey used to dislike. Zoey's new friends at the Tulsa House of Night nicknamed her "Skank Bitch Kayla." In Tempted, Zoey asked Heath if he ever had sex with Kayla, which Heath revealed that they never did.
Despite being labelled as a bitch and more things, it is questionable if she is really as bad as Zoey makes her out to be as most if the book is from her perspective. Kayla's only crimes are attempting to hook up with Heath after he broke up with Zoey, and going to the police after she witnesses Zoey drinking his blood (a perfectly reasonable thing for her to do). She seems more of a case of Designated Villain.
